Senior PL/SQL developer 

I am Mart Lainas, head of Telia's billing development department.
We are looking for a Senior PL/SQL developer with good technical competence to contribute to the innovations of billing applications. The main focus is on the development of new and existing billing systems, technical analysis of business needs, and solution testing and code review.

Your next challenge?
 
Your tasks are the development and improvement of database applications under the responsibility of the billing department. Our team is a technology-side partner to the business to ensure the counting, pricing, invoicing, and receipt processing of various services and products. That is why we cooperate with many other Telia development teams. The bases to be developed are complex internally and also with many external interfaces. The work requires excellent technical knowledge and the ability to create connections.

Is this you?
 
You know modern software development technologies, develop suitable solutions together with team members, and give your recommendations. You are a quality freak in a good way - you demand high-quality code from yourself and other coders. You recommend and look for new ways to improve the quality of applications. In addition, you analyze needs, carry out changes, and contribute to the creation of the technical development plan of the field. You are used to working with large systems and no stranger to working in an international development team.

Your experience:

• Very good knowledge of the PL/SQL language.

• Thorough knowledge of Oracle databases, and familiarity with APEX and FORMS.

• In addition to Oracle's technical knowledge, you have also implemented complex business logic.

• Have an understanding of the main integration protocols HTTP/REST and SOAP.

• Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns and their use cases.

• You know Estonian and English at a sufficient level for professional communication.

Good to have:

• Experience in working with billing systems of a large organization.
